Race Information
Join us for a scenic sprint triathlon along the NH seacoast in late summer/early fall with an ocean swim off Wallis Sands State Beach and a flat and fast bike and run course. The bike course is a loop with half the miles along the coast, and the other half meandering along beautiful Rye town roads. The out and back 5k run stays along the ocean and turns around at Odiorne State Park.

2012 Athlete Guide and USAT info
Athletes, make sure you take a look at the Trek Portsmouth Wallis Sands Triathlon Athlete Guide for all sorts of valuable information about race weekend. There will be a USAT official on the course making sure all bikers abide by the rules. You should view the most commonly violated USAT rules before the race to make sure you know what the official is looking for. You can also view the full USAT competitive rule book if you're not familiar with the USAT rules already.
View the race course!
You can view a video of what the swim, bike, and run course will be like before race day by checking out the View the Race website. Many thanks to Dave Hardy and for filming the courses!
We're moving toward a zero waste race!
We are trying to make the Trek Portsmouth Wallis Sands Sprint Triathlon a zero waste event by recycling as many bottles, paper, disposable silverware, and food scraps as possible. We have partnered with Green Alliance and EcoMovement and we'll be providing special recycling bins to dispose as much waste from the race as possible. We will have staff available at the food tent by these recycling bins to help people dispose of their trash in the right bins. Thank you for your part in making this race a zero waste race!
